Model Style - Agyness Deyn

By: Vera Gushansky
Agyness Deyn is undoubtfully one of the best dressed models. Love her look as much as I do? Well here are a few key looks to follow in order to simulate her style:

Should-pad Jackets:
How to wear them:
Team baggy jackets with skinnies or short skirts to give your frame shap. Don't wear with baggy trousers- you'll drown out your shape. Team fitted, belted jackets with absolutlely anything!
80's Flashy Colors:
How to wear them:
Die-hard fashionistas can dare to match fluo-coloured bright pieces with dark basics. Examples: pink jacket with black skinnies, yellow skinnies with a white tunic and orange dresses. If you're not convinced the bright look does it for you, opt for bright accessories: a red bag, turquoise trainers, orange belt or yellowscarf can instantly jazz up an outfit.
Stripes:
How to wear them:

Stripes can either look like the last word in chic or like you've just stepped out in your PJs. To avoid making a faux pas of Titanic proportions, be original: mix horizontal and vertical stripes, wear jackets and blazers over stripy tees, and team long stripy dresses with high heels. NB: horizontal stripes weight down and widen the frame, so be careful with these. If you're curvy, vertical stripes lengthen the silhouette, so go for these for a slimming, lengthening effect.

Contrast Colors:

How to wear them:

The secret to clashing in style, ie without looking like a clown, is chic. You can get away with if it you keep it stylish, so always opt for fitted cuts: pretty belted jackets, straight-legged trousers, masculine waistcoats and heels to set your look off.

The Masculine Style:

How to wear it:

In small doses, with girly outfits. Examples: masculin blazer with flowing dress, trousers with braces and a silk shirt, and a shirt-and-tie ensemble with a feminine skirt. Colour-wise, go for grey, black and navy.
