wlh99, let me tell you precisely what I want to achieve, so there is no more confusion.
Two views;
View 1 is the ticker and a button underneath (button start.
View 2 is display (label) with the timer running and a button underneath (button Cancel)
Button Cancel will have two maybe three funtions ( stop the timer, reset it or just reset it at once and call View1 so the user can reuse the timer over again. That's it, I want to add that function to my App for 1.1 or it could be 1.4 if don't get to study now hahaa.
I'll take care of the alarms, sounds and those details if it reaches to zero, that I know already.
By the way, what's with 3rd person reference? the OP? you can call me Nekbeth or Chrystian, it's a lot more polite. Maybe you guys have a way to refer to someone , I don't know.

This is what I'm waiting for before considering a Core 2 Mac purchase. However, the current version of the Merom is drop-in replaceable with the Core Duo, so it's strange for Apple to not have something ready for the holidays. I believe they'll quietly update the MacBooks and MacBook Pros sometime in November with Core 2s.
Or the remaining tuesdays/Wednesdays in October. But probably not much more than the processor, I'm afraid.

I wish Ubuntu went with Gnome 3 over Unity. Fedora is great but it is more "free" than Ubuntu as Fedora includes fewer/no? proprietary drivers by default so it is a little bit more work to get running on some hardware.
I like fedora, but I agree with you 100%, its a pain to upgrade because it requires a lot of tweaking to get it to work on my system. I went with an nividia GPU not only to make my desktop hackintoshable but also so I can download the the proprietary drivers. ATI linux support is pathetic. Still even with the drivers, I have to work at tweaking the system to get it working the way I want it too.

Ahhhh.... dude... the only Apps that don't really get approved are ones that do things that can cause security risks or just plain trying to steal your information.
Not true, Id say that is in the small minority, believing that is falling in line with the people who believe that simply plugging a PC running Windows into the Internet will result in it being flooded with viruses within seconds.
There are plenty of apps on my iPhone from Cydia that merely add improved functionality, like 'Infinifolder' which lets me have unlimited apps in a folder. iBlacklist, which lets me block numbers without having to get my carrier to do it for me. BiteSMS, which lets me read, reply, look up their profile, or call them from the recieved SMS window, without having to leave my current App.

Don't really see the point of making OSX look like something that was designed to be used with a touch interface when they specifically said there would be no mac device with a touch screen.
Good thing they are changing it up, I hope we don't get an orange faux-cuir iCal. I can just see what great inspiration that'll be to so many great designers of the App Store :rolleyes:

I think the image has been played around with a bit but I don't know if that means it's definitely fake. It looks like everything in the image (hand, keyboard) are so brightly lit that the screen on the phone would have to look a lot more glarey/reflective/shiny than that. Unless the new screen is also a lot more matte. But it doesn't look right to me. Or maybe it's paper like a few people have suggested.
Edit, just realised the screen is obviously not more matte after looking at the second picture. I refuse to believe those are the same screens! Definitely suspicious...
I also believe that, as someone has suggested, the handset might be a tad smaller rather that the screen being bigger.

First Scenario: Never. Tiger added very little. Dashboard is nice but the real upgrade was merely Spotlight. Seriously... a little stability here.... fancy features there... nothing special.
